Herd Sires

Coalition is one of the great female producers of our time and will be a major part of our breeding program for years to come. He has a unique ability to sire progeny with the like phenotype that is unparalleled among most sires. Coalition sons look like bulls. They are stout, thick topped and square made with a ton of muscle expression, while still being very attractive fronted with a proud appearance and a world of Angus-breed character. 

​His daughters are where is legacy will be formed. They have superb udder attachment, teat size and maternal temperament. The phenotypic consistency is as strong in the females as it is in the bulls. Use Coalition to propel phenotype, muscle expression and maternal superiority in his progeny.

S Wrangler 830

S Wrangler 830 is a calving ease Coalition son with a dominating phenotypic presence and a pedigree stacked with performance and maternal patriarchs. Wrangler’s dam is double bred to the popular Genex sire, Chisum, who consistently sires muscle, mass and power, while enhancing maternal production. Wrangler was retained from his calf crop by Spickler South, and an interest was later sold to M Diamond Angus, WY. He has been used successfully on a large number of both registered and commercial heifers. Wrangler himself is a very good structured, exceptionally quiet bull, with a poise and presence about himself that further separates him as an elite herd bull. He is seeing heavy use at both M Diamond and Spickler South. The consistency and quality he sired in his first calf crop has him marked early as an elite producing sire.

S Cornerstone 607

We are extremely excited to have recently added S Cornerstone 607 to our herd bull line up. Cornerstone was the high selling bull at the 2017 Spickler Ranch South sale.

Cornerstone presents a phenotypic, performance and maternal package that is second to none. His dam, S Blossom 0278, is a tremendous cow that will continue to leave her mark on the Angus breed for years to come. His 3-generation pedigree is composed of 12 pathfinders. In addition to his dam S Blossom 0278 the well-known maternal prowess of S Pride Anna 709 (dam of S Summit 956 and S Whitlock 179) and S Gloria 464 (dam of S Chisum 6175) grace Cornerstones pedigree.

We look forward to the arrival of his first calves in the spring of 2018.

Marcys Scale Breaker N Plus

N Plus is an exceptional son of Marcys Scale Crusher that’s as good a bull as you can make for phenotype. He excels in deep ribbed, easy fleshing progeny that are long, smooth and full of muscle. He has one of the thickest rear quarters you will find on an Angus bull. His 1st calves are thick and soggy, with an easy doing look, his progeny will hold up well in tough country. His 1st 31 calves record a 99 birth weight ratio and 101 weaning ratio. His pathfinder dam is now an ET donor here at M Diamond Angus.

S Summit 4604

Summit 4604 is siring tremendous muscle, rib shape, fleshing ability & performance. It is rare to find these traits today in a sure-fire heifer bull. He is stamping his calves with the same type & kind - tremendous mass & muscle expression in a calving ease package. 4604 is extremely docile - he will make calves that are easy to handle & easy keeping, maternal daughters that last.
